The new Cloud Portal Leave Request functionality is very useful from the parent perspective, but the corresponding Leave Requests interface within Registration Manager is extremely restrictive operationally.
At present, each collapsed request displays the parent/requestor rather than clearly identifying the student, and the student is only visible once the request is expanded.
There also appears to be no ability to search, filter or meaningfully sort the requests.
For schools processing significant numbers of leave requests, we need at minimum the ability to:
Display the student name prominently on the collapsed request
Search by student name or School ID
Filter by year group/form
Filter by requested leave date/date range
Filter by request status
Filter or sort by submission date
Sort requests by student, date or status
Ideally display requests in a compact list/grid view so that multiple requests can be reviewed efficiently
Registration Manager already provides search, list and filtering functionality in other areas, so it would be extremely helpful if similar functionality could be provided for the Cloud Portal Leave Request queue.
