If a register is completed in error, it would be really helpful to able reset it to blank boxes rather than to say they're weren't present and then have to correct the codes as this can be lead to errors
I agree with this comment. There also seems to be another idea which is the same as this one and has votes too. Maybe they can be merged, although I can see that they are related.
