Historically we have always run Report Cycles for UCAS grades and the like (MidYIS, ALIS, etc) with only HoS having to enter the grades, as opposed to all subject teachers. These Report Cycles have always displayed the grades in Pupil Profile > Assessment & Reports for other teaching staff to view. Unfortunately now that we have moved to Gradebooks this is no longer possible.
It seems an oversight that this will not work when using Gradebook data to link grade data to a Report Cycle, in that Gradebooks will not allow a Report Template to be allocated to the Gradebook if the template has been added under Head of Subject tab in the Report Cycle. It only works when the Reporting template sits under the Subject tab in the Report Cycle.
Please can we ask that this is something that is considered by iSAMS as a matter of urgency. I find it hard to believe that there aren’t other schools who want to report on assessments that are managed by the HoS for the whole year instead of individual subject teachers for each set? Many thanks.
