On the Parent Portal, if parents “Create Leave Request” from the Dashboard they can select a reason but they are not given the option to give “notes” aka additional explanation for the absence. However, if they choose Communication > Absence Requests > New Leave Request, then they are able to “Leave Request Type” and “Notes” to explain in more detail.
We need to have the ability for parents to give more detail for the absence request whichever way they submit their request and they should be consistent.
