When adding Activities and learning support sessions to a pupil's schedule, there is no alteration made when this overlaps with their regular timetable.
For example, suppose Pupil A has a learning support session on Monday morning and misses that lesson of Music. The only indication on the pupil's timetable is a small dated session at the bottom of the page. There is no option to override their Music lesson, or alter the class list for that session ONLY. Even by managing the pupil's availability manually (which I really do not wish to do), they will still show on the set list with no indication of their potential learning support session.
In short, the modules should share data such that:
1/. Someone in the school office could EASILY find out [i.e. at a glance] where a specific pupil is at any time of the day.
2/. Any teacher could print out a list of who should be in that lesson at that moment in time. This is crucial for fire drills, amongst other things.
iSAMS, has there been any progress on this?
12 years on from this idea being posted, I'm looking into if we can integrate activities timetables onto the regular timetable for pupils.
