We rely on CEM baseline scores for setting predictions for our pupils. This data can be quickly imported into the tracking manager module via an XML file and then subsequently added as an external data column to gradebooks for each subject, which is great.
The problem is for example if a pupil changes a subject we generate a new prediction, but tracking manager, does not allow us to add that, so we have to import a new prediction dataset and delete the old one, but then the gradebook columns linked to the old dataset stop working, so I have to go through every single gradebook and readd all the external data column again.
If we could instead update or overwrite the existing import, then we could update the underlying data whilst also preserving the link to the gradebooks.
