At present we use a user's "Security Profile" to control who has access to Pupil Manager module in iSAMS, and the level of access (read/write/full/etc.).
When it comes to setting the granular permissions within Pupil Manager, this is done based on a user's "User Group".
This could lead to a user having access granted by one group, and access restricted/denied by the other group.
Currently we'd be looking to manually 'synchronise' the Security Profile groups and the User Groups, which would effectively render one of them redundant (at least for setting permissions).
Would it be possible to use the same group (e.g. the Security Profile groups) to set the permissions within Pupil Manager as for the overall permission to access the module?
