Most of our report cycles start in Online Assessment and move to Report Wizard for proof reading and publishing to the portal.
For Y12, they only get grades and I forgot to switch it to Report Wizard before publishing. While the process ran successfully, the output did not appear on the portal, resulting in a number of confused parents.
Please flag a warning on running the routine:
WARNING: The selected reporting cycle is currently set to Assessment. Please change it to Report for it to appear in the Parent Portal.
Thank you for your suggestion. There is a separate configuration setting within the Parent Portal Manager that decides whether assessments show on the Parent Portal, as well as reports. Both options for reports and for assessments must be turned on for them to show. However, we will review these settings within the Parent Portal Manager in the future to avoid these settings being missed by mistake, so there would no need for a warning.
