In our previous MIS, Administrators could make changes to reports already published/printed. It would be really helpful if iSAMS would allow administrators to edit past reports in a simpler way. Currently we need to re activate a cycle, and change the dates the gradebooks are available, etc etc
It should not happen, but in reality, there are always a small amount of cases where teachers realize they have made a mistake or there is a typing error in a comment. As an Administrator, I can update the gradebooks but I cannot resync them once the printed/publishing date has passed, therefore I can never update them. Al
This would be very useful. As we have class rotations after the reports are published, it is not practical to return students to the original classes (as is the current recommendation from iSAMS), reopen the cycle, and then correct the grades/comments.
A simple GUI for administrators, allowing grades/comments to be amended based on cycle+student+subject would be great. The report grade history is stored in this way in the database, so a GUI allowing this data to be amended would work
